How to restore a Time Guardian backup

Amano recommends the following steps on how to restore a Time Guardian backup for version 4 or lower.

Note: The procedure does not apply to Time Guardian Plus or TG Pro:

  1. In your USB drive or network drive, check to see if your TG backup is in a form of a zip file or multiple ff2 files.
  2. If a zip file, open the zip file and extract to C:/ Program Files/ Time Guardian.
  3. If multiple ff2 files, highlight all the ff2 files and copy, then paste to C:/Program Files/ Time Guardian.
Note: The C:/ Program Files/ Time Guardian path may differ if you have windows vista or windows 7, they may be located under C:/ Time Guardian only
