How to move sentinel key


Below are procedures on how to move the sentinel usb key:

  1. Changing the location of the Sentinel Key - Time Guardian Pro
  2. Move the key to the new computer.
  3. Get the IP address of that computer.
  4. Install the Sentinel driver program on the new computer.
  5. Go to the server where TG Pro is running.
  6. Add an environment variable in the System menu of Windows - Advanced Tab
  7. Choose System Variable (This wil affect any profile logged in)
  8. Under System Variable add this information:
  9. Variable Name = NSP_HOST
  10. Variable Value = 111.111.111.111 (IP address of the computer with the Sentinel Key)
  11. Once you’re finished, restart the Sentinel services and then open TG Pro.
