How to move firebird database


Below is the procedure to move a firebird database, this may also help in restoring a backup database:
  1. Stop Firebird Guardian service in old server
  2. Move db to new machine
  3. Install Time Guardian
  4. Do not login
  5. Stop firebird guardian service in new server
  6. Go to database directory and replace with backup
  7. Start firebird guardian service
  8. Login
  9. Activate with the ASA license manager
