Amano product discontinuation- MTX-15
Dear Valued Reseller,
This email is to inform you effective immediately the MTX-15 series will be discontinued. The discontinuation of the MTX-15 series is due to component obsolescence without replacement. Unfortunately we were forced to make this decision quickly as our supplier gave us little advanced notice.
Amano will continue to service and repair the MTX-15 as well as supply service parts as long as parts are available.
As you know we have several replacement options available. The MTX-30 series is a direct replacement and all MTX-30 terminals have built-in ethernet and signal capability. Wi-Fi is also available on certain models. We also have the AFR-100 and AFR-200 facial recognition products available.
Please note, if a customer is replacing an MTX-15 with a MTX-30 they will need Time Guardian version 5.6 or above. If replacing the MTX-15 with a face reader Time Guardian version 6.0 or above is required.
