What happens if semi monthly but does not have 2nd period’s start date due to short month

What happens if payclass is set to semi-monthly but current month does not have 2nd period start date available due to short month?

Reply:

System will choose the next date forward available. For example, start dates are 15th and 30th but current month end on 28th, the 2nd period start date will be the 1st of the following month.
