Guide to setup MTX-15 Ethernet Connection

MTX-15 Ethernet Terminal Connection with Time Guardian (TG) v5.0 procedure

1. Set the ip, using the dgdscvr utility ping test
2. Then on time guardian, go to Edit > setup
3. Clock > yes, yes, no, yes
4. Click on location terminal
5. Click garbage if says fpt
6. Go to connection tab, ethernet
7. Enter the ip
8. Verify port 2101
9. Next tab, terminal
10. Press the magnifying glass
11. Once serial shows, double click
12. Change validation to default
13. Verify active is checked
14. Click green check mark
15. Press green check again
16. Press green check again
17. Go to communications
18. Highlight mtx
19. 4 green buttons on bottom right
20. Press 2nd from left, this will set time - to test communication

Note: If this procedure fails, tcp port 2101 may be blocked by the firewall
