How to move sentinel key
Below are procedures on how to move the sentinel usb key:
- Changing the location of the Sentinel Key - Time Guardian Pro
- Move the key to the new computer.
- Get the IP address of that computer.
- Install the Sentinel driver program on the new computer.
- Go to the server where TG Pro is running.
- Add an environment variable in the System menu of Windows - Advanced Tab
- Choose System Variable (This wil affect any profile logged in)
- Under System Variable add this information:
- Variable Name = NSP_HOST
- Variable Value = 111.111.111.111 (IP address of the computer with the Sentinel Key)
- Once you’re finished, restart the Sentinel services and then open TG Pro.
